NewsPhilippine Independence Day CelebrationOn 8th June 2008, the Philippine Alliance organised a Philippine Independence Day celebration at Lampton Park in Hounslow. With the support of the Philippine Embassy, Philippine Alliance and KAMPI, Doce Pares was able to be part of the festive event and were also able to perform on stage in front of a 20,000 strong crowd.
London Mayor Boris Johnson was also there to grace the annual Filipino event and the community is quite chuffed as this is the first time that a London Mayor has visited a major Filipino event. Celebrity guests such as Ryan Agoncillo, Judy Ann Santos and the sexy Rufa Mae Quinto were there to entertain the crowds. Doce Pares members once again didn't fail to entertain as well. Those who performed an explosive show on stage were Instructor Ermar 'Alex Alexander and his students Diana Fauner, Roel Caneja and Cielito Caneja. Others present at the Doce Pares area were Ryan Atchazo, Ismael Hamza and latest couple and regulars Peter and Leslie.
