The Doce Pares British Championships for 2009 was held in Lordswood, Chatham in Kent on 29 March 2009.
Fighters from all over the UK came together to cheer and socialise. Doce Pares instructors such as Nimesh Desai, Ian Forster, Sunny Sardara, Jonathan Westley and Keith James were there to support the event along with Grandmaster Danny Guba.
Ermar Alexander's club, once again, joined the event and showed their skills.
Alex wowed the audience with his style and grace, which proved to be one of the best, winning him the Fighter of the Day award. He won all the categories he competed in... a triple gold. He won the Sayaw (Forms), Single and Double stick events.
