News3rd Philippine Qualifiers
On 16th January 2010, Wednesday at the Doce Pares Headquarters in Banilad, Cebu, the 3rd Philippine Qualifying Tournament for the WEKAF World Championships 2010 was held. Teams from Mandaue, Mabolo, Banilad and even from General Santos and Manila (Philippine Navy) took part in the whole day event. Grandmasters took part at the event, including SGM Dionisio Canete, GM Tonying Patalinghug, GM Felix Gutang, GM Kano Canete, GM Alfredo Carin, and Master Rudy Rey and Master Joe Borces. Ermar Alexander attended the event and helped with the judging. The day was fun filled and everyone's looking forward to the upcoming WEKAF World Championships to be held in Mexico in July 2010. 16 January 2010, Saturday |
