NewsBirmingham Barrio Fiesta 2010
On 19 June 2010, Sunday, EA Doce Pares GB's Sugbo Demo team visits Birmingham as part of its 2010 UK Tour! Alex, Diana, Obi and Abner perform an on-stage demonstration in promotion of the Filipino martial art of Eskrima (or Arnis). Manolo, our little mascot, was also present trying to get kids involved in our very own art. As Eskrima is now the National Sport and Martial art of the Philippines, the team aims to educate the British-Filipino population of this news. Lirikong Supremo, our brothers promoting Filipino Hip-Hop also traveled from London to showcase Filipino talent. Next stop: Barrio Fiesta sa Milton Keynes! 21 June 2010, Monday |
